    By placing an order you are signifying that you accept these terms and conditions and that you will be legally bound by them.

    These terms and conditions and your use of our website are governed by English law.

    This does not affect your statutory rights.

    This web site and our terms and conditions have been designed to be used within the United Kingdom, and conform to UK law. Whilst we are delighted to receive orders from outside the UK, we are unable to give any warranty that the use of this website or the placing of any orders from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations.

    Placing an order

    Formation of contract

    All requests to order items from Beatrice von Tresckow shall be provisional and non-binding unless or until a “Confirmation of Order” e-mail has been sent to the email address given by you. For the avoidance of doubt a contract between the parties shall not be established until this takes place. All orders are subject to stock availability. Beatrice von Tresckow reserves the right to refuse or restrict any order.

    Orders & Deliveries

    For deliveries within the United Kingdom we charge £8 and we aim to dispatch the parcel within 3 – 5 working days. Special Delivery Next Day is available with an extra cost when you order from Monday to Thursday before 2pm, this service is only available by phone. For all deliveries, a signature will be required to accept delivery of the package. Please note that some parts of the UK (i.e. the Channel Islands) have restricted Special Delivery options.

    International Orders

    We will send international orders by courier or using the Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed service where, normally, the parcel will enter into your countries postal service. However this cannot be guaranteed so please contact us if you have any specific requests regarding your delivery method. For all countries outside of Europe, USA and Australia, please contact us to discuss delivery charges and options by phone +44 (0)1242 226 827 or email sales@beatricevontresckow.com.

    Our charges are made in Pound Sterling or Euro and the exchange rate is set at the discretion of the individual credit card company. For security purposes, all unusually high orders in value or quantity will have to be verified. We may contact you and your credit provider. We reserve the right to cancel an order at any time and refund the cardholder if we have been advised that the card has not been authorised and the order does not comply with our Terms and Conditions as well as, but not exclusively, for security reasons.

    Duties and Taxes

    For customers in the United Kingdom and the European Union, we include the cost of Duties & Taxes in your order. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay and there are no additional charges. For customers anywhere else in the world, the price you pay at checkout will exclude import duties and sales taxes. Additional charges may apply when you receive your order. 

    Any customs or import charges incurred upon entrance to a non-UK and non-EU country will be the responsibility of the customer. The charges are determined by the local government and so will vary between countries. You will be contacted directly by our shipping partner to process these charges.

    Postage & packaging

    We undertake to package your goods in suitably protective wrapping or a box. Most deliveries will be by special delivery or courier and will require a signature on receipt.

    Dispatch of goods

    Providing they are in stock we undertake to post your goods to you within five working days of receiving your order. This will be by special delivery or courier.

    Occasionally, we may have to source your goods from an alternative location, and this may cause a slight delay in dispatching the goods to you. In this event, we will contact you to discuss when we should send your goods.

    Exchanges for online orders

    If the item, which you have requested is at a lower value to what you originally paid, we will refund the difference. If it is higher then we will contact you to take your payment details so that we can process the additional payment before dispatching the new item. Please note that in the case of varying values, we may well refund the initial amount and then charge the new value whether higher or lower.

    Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt.

    Monies will only be credited back on to the original payment method.

    Exchanges will be processed with 14 days of receipt.

    If we are unable to fulfil your request for an alternative item we will contact you as soon as possible with an alternative suggestion or offer you a refund.

    Returns & Refunds

    Beatrice von Tresckow Designs Ltd. offers a returns policy. Naturally, we want you to be delighted with your purchase, but if you are not completely satisfied you may return the goods to us within 14 days of purchase.

    For items you purchased in one of our shops or at a show we will issue a Credit Note on full price goods, providing they are returned unworn and in perfect condition and your original receipt must also be returned with the goods.

    Sale items you bought at a show or in one of our shops are non-exchangeable and can’t be refunded.

    However items that you purchased online or via telephone can be returned and will be refunded if tag is still attached.

    We regret we are unable to refund any postage.

    If the goods are faulty – subject to Terms and Conditions we will refund you in full for your purchase.

    If we find that any returned goods have been altered in any way by you or any other party and this has contributed to the fault no refund will be given.

    If you have placed your order from outside the UK you will be liable for the cost of returning the goods including any import or duties levied on the returned products. Please ensure that any international returns are clearly marked with ‘return to supplier’ so further import charges are not incurred.

    If you paid for your order by Cheque we will refund you by Cheque. If you paid using your credit or debit card we will require you to call us with the card details so that we can process the refund over the phone.

    Any refunds, partial or full, will be given to the person who made the original payment.

    We recommend that you use a Signed For service for the return of your goods as we cannot accept any liability for any goods lost in transit.

    Changes & amendments

    We reserve the right to change or amend the prices and specifications of all products offered or to withdraw them from our web site without prior notice.
